What I Do

My Philosophy

About

I have a simple philosophy really – utilize design to create value. It’s that simple. As a business owner your main function is to draw in clients to whatever product, service, or value you’re offering them. But how are you doing that? I work with clients to develop a form of visual communication through various design collateral such as logos, advertisements, and websites in order to create value, draw interest, and drive sales. You’ve made the investment in your business, now let’s work together to sell it to the masses.

Success is never final, failure is never fatal. It’s courage that counts.

-John Wooden

About Me

I don’t particularly have a very interesting or eventful story, but merely a simple one. I’ve spent most of my life growing up in North Carolina where I’ve found many wonderful friends and places. My Passion for art has existed ever since I have. My fondest memories as a child consists of a large roll of paper and any kind of pencil, pen, or marker I could get my hands on – I’ve always had the desire to create. The older I became the more I noticed the design of the world around me and I became a student of my environment. I studied advertisements, logos, brochures, and any other form of design I stumbled upon, and my passion kept growing for the craft. In the Fall of 2013, after graduating with an AFA from Rockingham Community College, I decided to attend the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) to obtain a formal education in Design. It was here that I met many friends, teachers, and colleagues that shaped me as a person and as a Designer. In May of 2015, I graduated UNCG with my BFA in New Media & Design and I set off into the real world. Ever since then I’ve known it was my passion to become a freelance Designer and to provide value for my clients, because Design isn’t just a passion for me, it really is my life. My mom always told me that if you find something you’re passionate about and good at, and find a way to make money at it you’ll never work a day in your life. Well, I’m not “working”, I’m living my dream through Design and I’m just getting started.
